Social Media and Mental Health: Daily Experiences

Social Media Use and Mental Health Day-to-Day â€‹

We are currently analyzing daily diary data from the AweSome project (Department of Communication Science, University of Amsterdam) to investigate how day-to-day changes in social media use relate to mental health symptoms and well-being in adolescents. This 100-day experience sampling study provides a unique opportunity to explore the short-term dynamics between digital engagement and emotional functioning.
